Ashley Young: oh dear oh dear

I will let Ashley Young's acting do the talking, I do not need to condemn him with words, his actions do that on their own.

It is beyond a disgrace that we are having to see cheating like this week in week out and the authorities are doing absolutely nothing to stamp it out.

It would be easy to retrospectively ban players found guilty of clear diving in the penalty box for three games, it would go some way to eradicating this kind of cheating from the game.

It is a great shame that we have the corrupt and apathetic in change of football in the form of FIFA/UEFA/FA. The game is becoming a progressive laughing stock.

oAshley Young is a disgrace to English football and he is causing disgrace to man united although they might win d game through his diving but its real disgrace to English football

tandui said...

last weekendhe also did that and won the 1st penalty and gain undue advantage againest the opposing team.why does sir Alex encourage this?thats why they win the league unfairlly.

And a delight to see the morons from Chelsea refusing to honour the minutes' silence at Wembley. You can't buy class.

The league is set every year for man united to win it, alex ferguson is the most overrated manager ever in world football, this is how he wins all his titles, buying out the referees

He has become an embarrassment. He falls over faster than Emile Heskey on ice and more theatrically than Kenneth Williams in panto. The possibility of him representing England in the Euros is unthinkable, unless they decide to hold them at Old Trafford.

Ashley Young- What a big disgrace to football!

was that the chavs or the spuds fans disrespecting the minutes silence ?

A small minority of the Chelsea fans, disrespected the minutes silence a disgrace and embarrasement to their club..

Anonymous said...

he will do it all day for united and get penalties but once in an england shirt and he will be booked.

This disgraceful action will not stop until teams start getting points deducted when it is discovered thereafter. If Man U had 4 points deducted. Two for the previous match and again two today, Ashley Young's would end that dishonest behavior instantly.

But you can expect him to repeat the same before this season has ended.

Someone should give him a cup - Biggest Cheat Award at the end of the season.

There is a crises in top level football in this country. The referees are appalling. What action did Halsey take? and then there was Atkinson in the semi-final. I actually feel sorry for the Sp*rs. Atkinson was appalling last week - he was even worse today. The FA and Old Mother riley will do nothing, however

They just get given the title year after year. The pen took the pressure off, and made it 10x tougher for Villa (who gave them another goal before the break with crappy defending).
And for him to do it against his old club, a week after getting away with one just as blatant is amazing. What a scumbag.
And why wasn't the ref wise to his actions? Did he not see his dive from last week?

"Someone should give him a cup - Biggest Cheat Award at the end of the season."

The problem is that the only cup he will get is the PL Trophy.

I would say the FA are determined to help Man U win the premiership title.
Surely there can be no other explanation for allowing this sort of cheating week in and week out.
The FA are becoming an embarrassment to football.
The fans deserve better.

Sir Alex is all about winning at all cost. His comments after Young's dive in the QPR clash were simply pathetic . Others are culpable as well, the FA could punish divers retrospectively , pundits should do away with their bias ( English players are too honest to dive). It takes away from the game , it's a disgrace .

Another penalty. At the this rate don't be surprised the refs will help SAF to win another title.Btw his greatest wish to dominate in the cl will be only a dream because the refs wont be there. I say let him dominate the next one hundred years but not the cl.

Anonymous said...

Another tumble and the rf making noises about Arsenal. He is due another blip with Everton and MC.He has been helped by the refs to perpetuate his epl stranglhold.
That is why he can't replicate in the cl. I believe he will strengthen his squad to push for the cl. He will probably win the the epl next season again. But as one fan wrote the refs aint there so it would just be a dream for him.

The most appalling thing of all these incidents (young, bale etc) is the soft reaction in the media, does anyone remember Eduardo incident and the way he was termed a cheat and diver...shameful..

Y ou O ur UNG entlemaly Cheat

Anyone remember when Eduardo was castigated for diving against celtic couple of years ago and the whole english press was on his back ? How come no ones jumping on ashley youngs back ? oh i forgot he's an english player in the most overated league in world football. man utd are crap and villa were absymal today

Danish Gooner said...

Fergie know exactly how soft these refs are and his players know how to con them,Manure have had almost 20 penalties this season.

Anonymous said...

You'd thought he'd keep a low profile after last weeks's dive, but no he didn't and he got away with it again, against his old club!! The guy is scum, total utter scum. Also, Rooney has now scored 2 penalties that never should have been given and is creeping up on van Persie's goal tally. What if he surpasses van Persie and becomes top scorer by 1 goal? It's going to be a difficult choice for Cnut of the year with such strong contenders like Suarez, Terry and Young.

The EPL is single handedly pushing FIFA to introducing video technology. The pace of the game and player dishonesty have made it apparent that refs are no longer capable of getting the game changing calls wright .Last two weeks have been just brutal , time to take action , before the game is ruined beyond repair.

I think that football can learn from football, that is American football. In that game each team can demand that the umpire take a look at two or three instances in each game. The umpire then goes to a special replay screen and takes a second look at the incident and then decides if the ruling on the field is correct. As each team only has lets say two possibilities to overturn a ruling on the field, the managers would use this sparsely. Just today we have two decisions that were obviously wrong: Super diver Young and Chelsea's second goal.

Stopping the game not more often than lets say four times for this reason is no more time consuming than calling a medical team on to the pitch but it would make it possible to correct stupid (unintentional) mistakes.

What sort of a low life scumbag must young be to do that to the team that put food on his family's table.
words cannot describe the type of person he his.
Something you get on the bottom of your shoe when walking the street might be appropriate.

So the ref said sorry for giving Chelsea the 2nd goal. The damage had been done. With all these blundering refs, anything can happen.
It wouldn't surprise me if the ref in the MC/MU wrongly awards a penalty to the rf effectively giving him the epl. This is one of the scenarios. There could be others.
Similarly with Arsenal playing Wigan, the ref can wrongly rule a gunner goal for off side.
You never can trust these guys in black who want to perpetuate rf's dominance.

MU got 9 points from the ref's deliberate blunders in the Fulham,QPR and AV.This is not insignificant . If the rd were were to get a maximum of 5 points, the table will look different.
Add to the 2nd goal scored by the ref for Chelsea,it does raises questions about the integrity of English football.

I have a radical suggestion for the current diving debate. The guy who goes down in the box theatrically should have his own team punished. The ref 100% sure should give apenalty against the diver's team.
Mark my words, the diving will stop.Sometimes you have to go against the trend.
In a certain country, crime was getting out of control with rape, murder, kidnapping, car thefts, etc. The authorites beheaded the criminals.Soon the crime rate fell to 5%.I think the football authorites should move with the times and update the punishment.Otherwise we will not be able ti wipe out cheating in a trillion euro/pound industry.

So Fergie says, "well the boy tried to stop Ashley and he knows the risks..it was a soft penalty" Thank Alex. (A) so what you are saying is no one should ever try to tackle a United player in the box because like Rooney & Young they are the biggest cheats in the UK.and when they dive, they will get a penalty. (B) Alex knows it would not happen at Old Trafford aginst his lot so he graciously accepts his lad cheats.

Let me remind all Gunner s and the rest just how one Pires 'dive' caused AFC to be crucified for a whole season, and the press still use it as a weapon. But this bloke and his team plus Chelski can dive week in week out and never get penalised.....why?

Because somehow these two clubs are above the law and are super rich.....I wonder if cash in brown envelopes is involved?

Anonymous said...

I can understand the disgust but not the surprise. There is a long tradition of cheating/diving at Man United. Recent years have given us Van Nostrilboy, Ronaldo, Rooney, and now Ashley Young as leading exponents of the trailing foot dive. Remember Jap Stamm revealed in his autobiography the Ferguson encouraged them to dive.

Anonymous said...

spot on about te man u tradition.
all players will do it but its haow far they will go..
young is a disgrace, a fan should sue him because this is not what we payed to see...
shameful

i am a man-united fan but i've got to say that this diving thing is embarrassing and unacceptable!!!!!i completely agree with arsenal coach that divers should be banned for three games...

Anonymous said...

I once punched and kicked a diver at one of my university games and i was suspended (6 games) for that! do i regret my action? not at all!! would i do it again if another diver did it? hell yeah!!!...believe me, this is worst feeling a defender can have to be accused of a tackle he did not engage in.

Anonymous said...

NOw I hate saying this but Ashley Young is exactly the kind of guy that deserves to be Eduardoed / Diabyed / Ramseyed.

Cunt can't dive if hes got no legs

Anonymous said...

young was not doing this while at villa...is united training divers?

Anonymous said...

At last Anon
Yes he has, he's been a serial cheat since his Watford days. It only gets noticed more now due to the club he plays for...

Sebastian said...

I'll be honest, this season has made me care less about football than before. I feel that some credibility has gone. how can you compete with a team that cheats on a weekly basis and gets away with it? Its a big shame, but im begining to lose interest.

Sebastian said...

Anyone remember when Rooney dived disgustingly next to Sol Campbell to end our unbeaten run? United have been cheating for years and years and years.

I wouldnt be suprised if they hand pick refs, it happened in Italy, you honestly think the EPL is whiter than white? City have been the best team in the league, yet utd will win it because of the refs. Its a disgrace. And as I said, its making me lose interest.

Anonymous said...

"City have been the best team in the league" Erm well, they're cheaters too; financial cheaters, same as Chelsea. Tough choice between Manu and Citeh, but Manu just shades it.

Anonymous said...

The grade of such players is ZERO! yes '0'! At the time people are in attention mode to watch the game suddenly a stupid player dives make people loose interest in football. No need of been a football fan. There are lot of games on the earth. That is my conclusion.

Anonymous said...

the mystery is how come we get the "same old arsenal always cheating"bollocks every week from clubs?wtf did thatcomefrom?when you see what MANURE & the refs are up to it's a f*** joke!

Anonymous said...

That's his 8th pen he's won for his team all season and instead of getting better at it he's actually getting worse making it more obvious. They say this time of the season yoonited get better no they don't its that the refs help out more. Remember after Liverpool knocked them out of the FA cup Fergus saying we got no help from the officials today and that linesman that linesman since then did not lose a game up till the Wigan game his old pal who he takes out for meals with other managers in manchester not to worry he will get found out juventus did.

Anonymous said...

One post said SAF is the most over rated manager in the epl. I agree with him. If he's really that good, come over and manage any of the bottom teams and turn them into champions or working with the budget of Moyes and Oneill.
That is why he can't make an impression in the cl. He could embark on a major spree to bolster his chances. But he must have the refs on his side which is 90% impossible.
But you never know.

Anonymous said...

ashley young is a slimy cheating cunt. absolute hatred for the wanker! diver all day long

Anonymous said...

Remember when Eduardo "dived" (there was contact albeit it minimal) against Celtic? He was strung up by the English press - but then that's because he's foreign and English players like Gerrard, Lampard, Rooney and Ashley Young never, ever cheat. Ever.
