Dear Chelsea fans,
I have never been particularly impressed with the behaviour of your club or your supporters. Still one should never write off a group of people based on the actions of a minority or Roman Abrahmovich.
However the way in which Wayne Bridge was treated by Chelsea supporters today was an absolute disgrace, and any Chelsea fan who disagrees with this probably doesn't have enough of a brain to process anything more than beating his wife.
Wayne Bridge has done nothing to deserve the abuse he recieved from your supporters. He never let the club down as a Chelsea player and he has never spoken out of turn having left the club.
If it is an offence in the eyes of Chelsea fans to find out that John Terry has had sex with your ex-partner and mother of your children then I really do despair.
Anyone who abused Wayne Bridge today should be deeply ashamed. I'd imagine these are the very same people that idolise Ashley Cole and John Terry, how very very sad indeed.
The 4-2 victory is a justice of sorts, but this will do little to make Waybe Bridge feel much better about any of this.
Sometimes a handshake should be refused, if the person offering his hand has done nothing to apologise or make up for his mistakes then why should the olive branch be accepted, hollow gestures should not be just blindly accepted.

ReplyDeletewell said mate!!
Absolutely right! They are a disgrace!
ReplyDeleteIf Cashly was fit no-one would even be talking about Wayne, suddenly HE has let england down???
ReplyDeleteI was so happy when he rejected the handshake...well done Wayne and City.
You're bang on the money mate, well said.
ReplyDeleteamen!!
ReplyDeleterahul
was really glad to see bridge refuse terry's hand today, and even more so to see man city then go on to beat them... terry's a c*nt pure and simple, he's scum and in my mind so are the chelsea fans that booed him...
ReplyDeleteMate - they should be deeply ashamed ?!
ReplyDeleteIt was a disgrace ?!
They are bunch of morons ! They don't know what that means !
What brain ?! Every single one of them has a negative IQ !
They read in papers something about Terry and Bridge, and didn't understand the story - but they must be on their captain's side !
hehehehehehe
Stupid ass Chavs fans ! They probably didn't get it that they have lost today ! Give them till tuesday to figure it out !

Hahaha. Twats.
i wanna shake your hand mate. you'd think people from the most wealthy part of london would have some degree of class.
ReplyDeleteThat club is a model for everything that's wrong with this country. criminal, unfaithful, untrustworthy, greedy, immoral. you name it, they've got it.
interesting quote from bellamy on Terry here:

Brillantly said! Fine, its your team and your captain so support him, by why boo the lad who's done absolutely nothing wrong but seen his world turn upside down?
ReplyDeleteForm (since the abramovich years) is temporary, class is permanent.
Fans, owner, board, manager, players, the whole team is a disgrace. it's as simple as that.
ReplyDeleteEverything you need to know about what a shower of sh** that chelsea are was on show today. But did any one really expect any different??
ReplyDeleteFrom board to management to players to fans...not an ounce of class between them.
whatelse will u expect from stamford bridge?
ReplyDeleteThey are either humping their mates babe or texting pic of their man hood to ladies or visiting massage parlour!
Looked like even Ballack decided he couldn't be arsed to play for them any more. The wheels finally came off.
ReplyDeleteWishing Ramsey well by the way. fuckin'ref buying in to "Arsenal don't like it up em so let us kick 'em till they break" again
What do you expect from the chav scum?
ReplyDeleteI was so disappointed to see the Chelsea fans booing Bridge when HE is the innocent party.......... Especially since he is a former player who DIDN'T leave under a cloud.
ReplyDeleteTBH is the media is to blame for most of this. LET IT DROP, The public have so why can't you !!!
On a more serious note. Best wishes to Aaron Ramsey, Wishing you a speedy recovery.
It was right of Wayne Bridge not to shake Terry`s hand, I can not imagine shaking hands with an ex co-worker that sleep with my ex. I think Terry must be crazy for even having the intention that Wayne Bridge will shake his hand. I also think that most Chelsea fans are not doing the right thing for supporting Terry. I strong believe that Terry should resign from international football.
ReplyDeleteWell Said.
ReplyDeleteAs the saying goes if I found him in bed with my I'd tuck him in. Look as though they took that literally!
Morons
If I was Bridge I wouldn't have wanted to shake hands with JT either.
ReplyDeletePS: get well soon, Aaron...:(
Well said, I was thinking the same thing
ReplyDeletewayne bridge is a gentleman, john terry is scum, end of story
ReplyDeleteSam K...
ReplyDelete"From the wealthiest part of London" ?
I've never met a Chelsea fan who comes from Chelsea, or even lives there.
Fake club, fake support.
You conveniently ignore the fact that the majority of the Matthew Harding Stand was in fact singing his name about the great goal he scored at your library in 2004. The weren’t booing him, they were showing him respect. The ones that booed him in other stands were wrong to do so but are not reflective of the real Chelsea support - like your lot who booed Eboue because of poor form but now cheer him. Or those who think the highlight of playing Chelsea is to abuse Cole rather than get behind your own team. Typical Arsenal hypocrites. And BTW, Chelsea fans were singing right to the end despite the defeat. That’s the kind of support that Arsenal have never had -as shown by your embarrassing home crowd in the 3-0 defeat last November. Chelsea fans no class? Highbury August 1984 - anyone who was there knows the score . Sam K were you there? It always amazes me that a club that had an average attendance of 24,000 in 1986 and now has 60,000 can seriously attempt to take the moral high ground when it comes to 'real' supporters.(so TCR how many of these are 'fakes ‘?) Face it, all clubs have new fans (Arsenal more than most) and all clubs have fans who at times let down the other fans like those who booed Wayne Bridge. Arsenal fans should sort out their own appalling support rather than focussing on whether Chelsea boo or cheer Wayne Bridge. As for Wayne, I’m sure he’ll remember hugging the Chelsea support in the clock end that night as the true reflection of his relationship with the fans. Most of you wouldn’t have seen it as you were already heading for the exits, loyal fans that you are.
ReplyDeleteHoping for a speedy recovery for Ramsey. Dare we think about Arsenal for the league? Those Chelsea fans are scummy, but a special mention and respect to those that clapped him off, guess they are the true fans.

ReplyDeleteu talk about our support leaving early, and how your bunch of brain-dead supporters were singing to the last minute? were you not paying attention yesterday when three quaters of them left after the 3rd goal??? typical blind chelsea supporter.
Bridge lost the moral high ground when refusing the normal handshakes of players from both teams.
ReplyDeleteThe most hated team in uk football, yes man city and the idiotic bellamy and tevez with the team bridge t shirts must make bridge feel a bigger tit than he is.
Sad thing is though, by refusing the handshake with terry shows why his girlfriend went looking for a real man in the first place.
As a Chelsea fan I was really angry at the booing of Bridge by a minority of our crowd (too many though). But the comments on here smack of double standards bordering on the ridiculous. Are you serious? You boo Ashley Cole for moving to Chelsea for more money, yet you support Gallas a player who threatened to score an own goal unless Chelsea agreed for him to go to Arsenal because he didn’t get the new fat contract he wanted. And you talk of morals? You booed your own player Eboue and you personally abuse Adebayor just for going to Man City and you began jeering him while he was still playing for you!!. Now all of a sudden you’re the self righteous defenders of Wayne Bridge who left us for Man City and a better contract (yet we still cheered him on his return last season). As for fans leaving early – suffice to say : Man Utd in champions league, Man Utd in the league, Chelsea two years running – mass evacuations 15 to 20 mins to go. So get off your high horses for one minute and look at your own supporters’ failings before foolishly criticising Chelsea for behaving as you do every season to one player or another.
