So Liverpool were seen off in the week, an entertaining game and overall a deserved victory. Ramsey has taken a lot of plaudits, as has Fran Merida. Fabianski has apparently picked up a muscular strain which means that Arsene cannot hide from the Almunia question. Will Manuel start against the spuds? I do not know, I just hope that he does.
The banter has been there from the spuds, Keane reckon their squad is better than ours, Redknapp thinks they are as strong as us now. Arsene would not get embroiled in this petty talk, I would argue that the person who goes on about how pretty his wife is probably doesn't have a very good looking wife. The spuds are talking a lot about how great they are now, the season is not yet ten games old.
The back four picks itself, although I can't help but think that Eboue and Gibbs are pushing Sagna and Clichy very hard. Song, Diaby and Cesc will probably be the middle three, while Arshavin and RVP will surely start up front. That leaves one place open and it will probably go to Eboue. I'd be tempted to stick Bendtner or Eduardo in from the start if I were Arsene. Whatever happens I would like to see the likes of Nasri and Ramsey given at least fifteen minutes to make an impact if needed, if substitutions are left too late then they are often wasted.

To be honest I couldn't care if we win 1-0 or 10-0, as long as we WIN, and get the Spuds out of the way....
(10-0 would be nice though...)
I thnk that evn if v played fucking one leg tied up v can still beat the crap out of cunt spurs.
Jst hoping gallas n arshavin score
wat do u thnk gooners
Y win 1-0 whn v cn win 10-0.just show fucking ruthlessness
Well done to the lads today. They should enjoy this win for the rest of the day. I certainly will.
But it's not job done. The players mustn't feel that they've arrived now. They need to consider this a good 3 points and stay focused. We need to push on from this result.
If we are to be serious title contenders then we need to show up every week and stamp our authority on the match. And this is just another step in that direction.
Iconic goal by Fabregas today. One that will live long in the memories of Gooners. I thought Sagna stood out today as well. And a mention for Almunia, who looked comfortable to me today. And I'm satisfied for him to be ahead of Fabianski and Mannone.
I have to mention that Clattenburg is a complete clown. Bentley could have been sent of in the first half, yet somehow escaped without a card. Essou-Ekotu put in several rash challenges, yet no card. Vermaelen put in a superb, and FAIR, challenge, and got booked. Unbelievable! Is there even one half decent official in all of England? I thought the purpose of having them go full time was to improve the standard. It most certainly hasn't.
Rhino, pleased don't get 1979 started on the ref. After the game it's all he could bloody talk about!
Overall an excellent performance, which could easily have become a humiliation - spurs in the champions league, maybe next year.......
Song, RVP and the defence were brilliant today. Spurs were terrible.
And to cap a beautiful day we can look at the scousers and laugh. So we were the ones under pressure in the top 4 eh?
Also, liking the point on Fabregas' iconic goal. Big seasons need big moments, and seeing things like that gives you some belief this could be one of those seasons.
Three-nil! We beat The Scum, three-nil!
Rumor out of Nevada Smith's in New York is that Spurs are going to sell the first 42 minutes of the game as a DVD. Ah, but the next 2 minutes...
